As a Financial Analyst at Netsmart, you'll support business decisions through financial analysis, forecasting, reporting, and strategic insights. You'll partner with teams across the organization to evaluate performance, identify trends, develop financial models, and provide data-driven recommendations that help drive business success.

Responsibilities
- Compile and analyze financial data for a specific business segment.
- Develop revenue and expense forecasts, financial models, and performance reports.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to ensure accuracy.
- Identify trends and insights in the competitive landscape to inform business strategy.
- Assist with financial forecasting and internal account reconciliations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams across finance, operations, and leadership.
- Develop integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports, and presentations.
- Create and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensure financial information has been recorded accurately.
- Perform financial forecasting and reconciliation of internal accounts.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (recent grads welcome).
- Internship or academic project experience in financial analysis, ideally in healthcare or software.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, modeling).
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and business writing skills.
