Contract-to-perm opportunity supporting banking and financial-services organizations with day-to-day operational, analytical, and administrative activities. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate looking to build a career in the financial/investment banking industry.

Position Overview

We are seeking an entry-level Financial Operations Analyst to support banking and financial-services organizations with day-to-day operational, analytical, and administrative activities. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field, along with at least 6 months of relevant internship or professional experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support daily financial and operational processes and business activities.
  • Analyze and maintain financial and operational data using Excel and internal systems.
  • Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and presentations for internal stakeholders.
  • Review information for accuracy, identify discrepancies, and assist with issue resolution.
  • Support account, transaction, or client-related operational activities.
  • Work with internal teams to complete requests and meet deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records.
  • Assist with process improvements and other operational projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • At least 6 months of relevant internship or professional experience.
  • Strong Excel skills, including the ability to work with spreadsheets, formulas, and data.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience in banking, financial services, investment management, or a related industry is a plus, but not required.
  • Strong interest in building a career within the financial-services industry.

Pay

$21–$24/hour. Compensation will be renegotiated upon conversion to permanent employment.
