Financial Analyst - Controllership Team

TTI Consumer Power Tools, Inc. is a high-growth, market-leading company seeking energetic and curious individuals to join its Controllership Team in Anderson, SC.

About the role

This position reports to the Director of Finance and will participate in balance sheet reconciliation, statutory and government reporting, audit activities, accounting policy enhancements, and internal control documentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly statutory financial statements
• Prepare and reconcile monthly balance sheet accounts
• Prepare journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation
• Manage monthly accounting for fixed assets
• Assist with audit procedural activities
• Enhance current accounting policies and internal control procedures documentation
• Collect required data for insurance policy renewals
• Assist with compliance-related projects
• Support the Director of Finance, VP of Finance, Campus CFOs, and VP of Taxation with special projects and ad hoc analysis
• Create value through automation, improved reporting, and process optimization in SAP
• Participate in strategic financial projects, including SAP upgrades and other financial software implementations

Requirements

• 1–3 years of related experience
• Balance sheet reconciliation skills
• Experience working with and modeling extensive amounts of data
• Manufacturing industry experience preferred
• SAP experience preferred
