Financial Analyst
Job Summary
The Financial Analyst supports the company's financial planning and analysis activities, including forecasting, budgeting, financial modeling, reporting, and performance analysis. This role drives strategic financial planning, evaluates business performance, and provides data-driven insights to leaders.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with leadership to drive annual planning processes, including five-year plans, operating budgets, capital budgets, and company strategy.
- Partner with business units to understand financial performance and develop/implement action plans to achieve objectives.
- Provide thorough and thoughtful financial analysis to drive better informed decision-making.
- Partner with business partners in developing relevant and timely financial reporting for business leaders.
- Cultivate and sustain effective working relationships across the company.
- Extract, consolidate, and analyze large volumes of financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and key business drivers.
- Perform other duties as required to support the business and evolving organization.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent relevant work experience.
- 2-5 years’ experience in financial planning and analysis.
- Expertise with Microsoft Excel, PowerBI, and financial modeling.
- Experience extracting, validating, and analyzing large datasets to identify trends, business drivers, risks, and opportunities.
- Experience developing relevant and timely financial reporting for business leaders.
- Collaborative and service-focused, comfortable working with employees at all levels.
- Flexible and adaptive in a rapidly changing environment.
- Self-starter, able to work independently while achieving desired performance metrics.
