About the role

We are seeking an analytical, technical, and interpersonal individual to join our team as the Financial Analyst. This position is part of our Administration division, which supports multiple operating divisions serving a nationwide customer base in industries ranging from residential management to financial and legal transaction processing to healthcare.

Responsibilities

  • Gather information from various sources, organize it, and prepare meaningful financial analysis reporting.
  • Manage the workflow optimization process by ensuring information accuracy and consistency.
  • Support the workflow optimization process by evaluating current workflows and identifying inefficiencies, bottlenecks, redundancies, and automation opportunities.
  • Monitor financial performance against targets and highlight key variances, trends, and potential areas of concern.
  • Evaluate financial feasibility of new projects and initiatives.
  • Support the budget preparation and analysis for multiple divisions.
  • Ad hoc reporting.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Relevant work experience in a finance or accounting position.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting.

Skills

  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency developing complex financial models using spreadsheet, database, and other relevant software tools.
  • Ability to research issues and arrive at reasonable, well-documented conclusions.
  • Exceptional quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong decision-making skills.
  • PC experience in a Windows-based environment; broader knowledge of IT systems is helpful.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects while working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Outlook.
  • Working knowledge of database systems.
