Responsibilities

  • Analysis of Global financial information, and development of reports to identify and improve issues negatively impacting sales and margins for the General Industrial Division.
  • Support the GAM organization with data analysis and proforma compilation/reporting as needed.
  • Gate keep sales reporting through MicroStrategy ensuring data integrity, including global market segment reporting and support CAC needs.
  • Preparation of month end, and ad-hoc reporting as requested.
  • Maintain and distribute monthly reporting for Global Sales and Marketing, and lead enhancements through tools such as Power BI / Tableau.
  • Set Marketing and R&D budgets annually leveraging a bottoms-up approach.
  • Maintain and distribution monthly Global Marketing and R&D financial P&Ls with commentary, along with monthly reviews and trend analysis.
  • Standardize sales reporting globally for new business, lost business, etc.
  • Establish a standard process for gathering and compiling sales reporting by segment by region.

Qualifications

Education: Required: Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or similar business-related discipline.

Knowledge & Experience: Required: 4+ years finance/accounting experience. Preferred: Performance Coatings Group knowledge and experience, SW financial systems experience, Industry experience.

Technical/Skill Requirements: Required: Proficient in MS Office; Proficient with Micro-strategy; Experience with Hyperion/Smartview. Preferred: Familiarity with On-base and Oracle.

Travel Requirements: 10%
