Search Solution Group is seeking a Financial Analyst on behalf of a private telecommunications company. This role delivers financial insights, performance analysis, and strategic recommendations to support executive decision-making and business growth.
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate monthly financial reports, forecasts, and financial analyses for senior leadership.
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational performance and identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
- Develop financial models and projections that support strategic planning and business decision-making.
- Improve financial reporting processes through automation and process optimization, reducing manual effort and increasing analytical capabilities.
- Assist in preparing executive presentations that summarize financial performance, key findings, recommended actions, and strategic initiatives.
- Drive cross-functional process improvements that enhance data quality, operational efficiency, expense management, capital allocation, and revenue growth.
- Develop and maintain reporting repositories, dashboards, and analytical tools that improve visibility into company performance.
- Partner with business leaders to provide financial insights that support operational and strategic initiatives.
- Evaluate return on investment (ROI) for capital expenditures and other business initiatives.
- Analyze operational and financial data to identify root causes of performance gaps and recommend process improvements.
- Build, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize complex Excel financial models.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and data integrity.
- Support the Finance team's transition toward more automated, technology-enabled, and insight-driven decision support.
- Research and adopt emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), to improve reporting, forecasting, and financial analysis while validating outputs for accuracy and reliability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- MBA or other advanced business degree is a plus.
- 3–5+ years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, FP&A, accounting, or a related analytical role.
- Experience preparing financial reports, forecasts, budgets, and executive-level presentations.
- Experience developing financial models and KPI reporting.
- Experience improving reporting processes through automation and process optimization.
- Experience working within capital-intensive or subscription-based business environments, preferably telecommunications or similar industries, is preferred.
- Experience utilizing business intelligence and reporting tools is a plus.
