Financial Analyst

Bridget Killen from Robert Half is partnering with a mission-driven nonprofit organization in Albany and is seeking a Financial Analyst to support budgeting, grant compliance, financial reporting, and program analysis. This position plays a critical role in helping ensure federally funded programs remain financially compliant while providing meaningful insights to program leaders. This is an excellent opportunity for a data-driven professional who enjoys working with large datasets, building reports, improving processes, and partnering with stakeholders to support informed decision-making. Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor budgets and financial performance across multiple programsAnalyze and reconcile financial data to ensure accuracy and complianceSupport grant reporting and compliance for federally funded programsExtract and analyze data from ERP system and other financial systemsCreate and maintain Excel-based reports, dashboards, and financial modelsPartner with program managers on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planningIdentify opportunities to streamline reporting and improve processesAudit financial and program data to support organizational goalsIdeal CandidateYou are highly proficient in Excel, comfortable navigating financial systems, and enjoy turning data into meaningful insights. You can pivot between projects, work through complex reporting requirements, and proactively identify opportunities to improve financial processes while supporting the mission of the organization.
