About the role
We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join a growing organization. This position is well suited for a finance specialist who enjoys interpreting complex data, building reliable forecasts, and supporting business decisions through thoughtful analysis. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in both accounting and finance, along with the ability to work independently and communicate findings clearly.
Responsibilities
- Develop financial models that support planning, performance evaluation, and strategic decision-making across the business.
- Prepare forecasts and budgets by analyzing historical results, current trends, and operational drivers.
- Examine financial and operational data to identify patterns, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Perform variance analysis to explain differences between actual results, budgets, and forecasts.
- Produce ad hoc analyses and reporting for leadership to support timely business decisions.
- Analyze and organize large data sets to improve the accuracy and usefulness of financial insights.
- Partner with accounting and other internal teams to ensure reporting reflects a complete and accurate financial picture.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
- At least 4 years of experience in financial analysis or a similar finance-focused role.
- Demonstrated experience with financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and data analysis.
- Working knowledge of both accounting principles and corporate finance concepts.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to investigate data thoroughly and identify meaningful findings.
- Ability to manage responsibilities independently and maintain a high level of professionalism.
- Proficiency in conducting variance analysis and handling ad hoc financial reporting needs.
