Financial Analyst

Job Title: Contract Financial Analyst Our client is seeking a Financial Analyst on a contract basis to support key financial planning, reporting, and analysis initiatives. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who can work in a fast-paced environment, deliver actionable financial insights, and partner cross-functionally with business leaders. Based on general knowledge.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze financial data and prepare reports to support business decision-making. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Based on general knowledge.Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate business performance and strategic initiatives. Support month-end and quarter-end close processes. Based on general knowledge.Prepare management reporting and present findings to leadership as needed. Identify trends, risks, and opportunities within financial results. Partner with accounting and operational teams to ensure data accuracy and reporting consistency.Assist with process improvements and ad hoc financial projects. QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. 2+ years of financial analysis, FP& A, accounting, or related experience preferred. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and Excel skills. Based on general knowledge.Experience with financial modeling and reporting tools is highly preferred. Ability to communicate financial information clearly to stakeholders across the organization. ERP system experience is a plus.Preferred SkillsFinancial planning and forecasting. BBudgeting and variance analysis.Reporting and dashboard creation. Data analysis and process improvement. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
