We need to remove boilerplate: EEO, Drug Free Workplace, accommodation contact, privacy rights, etc. Also remove "About Us" maybe? The instruction: "Use for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule)." So we can include sections like About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. But we should only include sections if posting has real specific content.
We have content about role description (responsibilities). That could go under Responsibilities. Also maybe "About the role" could be a brief intro paragraph. The posting includes a paragraph at start: "We are currently searching for a Financial Analyst to support..." That could be About the role.
Responsibilities: list of duties (the bullet list after "In This Position, You Will...").
Requirements: maybe education and experience? Could be Requirements.
Qualifications: maybe skills like Excel, PowerPoint, presentation skills, organizational skills, etc. Could be Skills.
Benefits: mention hybrid work model benefit applies to certain positions and is subject to changes. That's a benefit? It's a hybrid work model benefit. Could be Benefits.
Pay: not mentioned. So we should NOT include Pay section.
Schedule: not mentioned (no mention of full-time/part-time hours). So no Schedule.
We also have location info: Miami Lakes, FL. Could be included in About the role or maybe as a short p. Not a heading.
We must not repeat job title as heading. So no heading "Financial Analyst". Good.
We must not put Job ID/requisition numbers as headings.
We must preserve ALL substantive information; do not invent or summarize away detail. So we need to keep all details from the posting, but we can format them into sections.
We must remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. So we need to strip out:
- "If you have a disability or need more information about requesting an accommodation, please contact us at asesorialaboral@popular.com . - Also maybe "About Us" paragraph? It's not boilerplate but it's about the company. Could be considered part of "About the role"? The instruction says we can use About the role heading. The About Us is about company, not role. Might be considered boilerplate? It's not EEO etc. But we might keep it as part of About the role? The instruction says we can use About the role heading for section headings. It didn't forbid including company description. However we should preserve ALL substantive information; we shouldn't discard company description unless it's considered boilerplate. The "About Us" paragraph is substantive about the company. Could be included under About the role or maybe a separate section like "About the Company". But the allowed headings list includes About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. Not About the Company. So we could incorporate the About Us info into About the role section (maybe as a brief description). Or we could drop it if considered not required? The instruction says "Preserve ALL substantive information; do NOT invent or summarize away detail." So we should keep it. We can put it in a
under About the role heading. We also have "Date: Sep 25, 2026 Location: Miami Lakes, FL, US, 33016 Company: Popular Workplace Type: Hybrid Financial Analyst Business Mgmt & Financial Reporting". This metadata could be folded into a short
or dropped. Probably we can include a short p with date and location. We must not include Job ID/requisition numbers. Now let's extract substantive content: Intro paragraph: "We are currently searching for a Financial Analyst to support the Popular Association Banking team and to own a wide range of analysis and reporting. This includes ownership of monthly forecasting and the annual budget, delivering comprehensive material for monthly business reviews and the regular output of ad hoc analysis critical to timely decision making. The Financial Analyst will be located in the Miami Lakes office and be a member of the Bank’s central Finance team located in New York. In addition, this analyst will calculate earnings credit payments and help optimize the ECR program for Popular Association Banking." Then responsibilities list (starting with "In This Position, You Will Serve as the Finance lead..."). Let's list responsibilities as bullet points: - Serve as the Finance lead for Popular Association Banking, including ownership of all finance and reporting deliverables for the business unit along with ad hoc reporting and analysis. - Assist with target setting and KPI tracking for the Popular Association Banking. - Develop ad-hoc analytics and reporting to help the business better understand and manage its costs, risks, capital usage, pricing, growth opportunities, etc. - Calculate ECR payments monthly - New business and new opportunity tracking - Analyze and report on client, segment, region, and product profitability - Generate & propose key performance indicators - Track and report progress against business/sales strategy - Act as a trusted advisor and counterweight to management team - Partner with SMT members to develop strategy for the business - Own and ensure delivery of strategic business initiatives - Business case development and validation Now requirements/qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics Experience: A minimum of 2+ years professional experience in corporate finance or accounting Skills: Must be an expert in Excel and proficient with PowerPoint Presentation skills: Adept presentation skills with an ability to target messaging to different audiences Organizational skills: Exceptional organizational skills and an ability to handle multiple tasks to meet extremely tight deadlines Communication: Able to articulate complex issues and themes to stakeholders Analytical: Ability to connect the dots and make sense of information across multiple data points that may not be easily noticeable Additional: Important: The candidate must provide evidence of academic preparation or courses related to the job posting, if necessary. Hybrid work model benefit: Our hybrid work model benefit applies to certain positions and is subject to changes based on the organizational needs. Work authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States. Visa: This position is not open to applicants who need visa sponsorship or transfer of visa sponsorship at this time. We should not include EEO etc. Now we need to decide sections. Possible sections: - About the role: could contain intro paragraph + maybe company description (About Us) and location/date. - Responsibilities: the bullet list. - Requirements: education + experience + work authorization + visa restriction? Might be better as Requirements. - Qualifications: maybe skills like Excel, PowerPoint, presentation, organizational, communication, analytical, evidence of academic preparation. - Skills: could be separate but we already have skills. The instruction list includes Skills as a possible heading. We could put technical skills under Skills, and soft skills under Qualifications? But we need to avoid thin sections. Perhaps combine into one Skills section covering both technical and soft skills. However we have also Requirements (education/experience). Could have Requirements and
