About The Role The Financial Analyst role at Coastal Sunbelt Produce is a pivotal position responsible for profit management, financial forecasting, and comprehensive reporting. The successful candidate will play a key part in analyzing financial operating results, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to support strategic decision-making. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills who can work closely with senior management, including the finance manager and CFO, to ensure financial strategies align with the company's overall business objectives. The analyst will be instrumental in evaluating profitability drivers such as revenue streams, margins, expenses, and working capital management, helping to optimize financial performance and drive sustainable growth. Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred. Experience Minimum of 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, business analysis, or related roles within the industry. Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations CPA certification is highly preferred. Professional Skills Exceptional organizational, time management, and critical thinking capabilities.Proficiency in financial reporting software and advanced computer skills.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and communicate insights effectively. Responsibilities Support the finance manager or CFO in ensuring that overall financial trends and the impacts of strategic initiatives are accurately reflected in forecasts and reports.Identify underperforming customers and vendors, analyzing the key profitability drivers associated with each.Quantify the financial impact of cost control initiatives and recommend strategies for expense reduction.Assist local and regional CFOs in the preparation and review of financial forecasts, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.Participate in quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and the annual operating plan (AOP) process, providing detailed financial insights and analysis.Identify opportunities to optimize costs, improve margins, and enhance overall financial performance.Monitor and analyze revenue streams, expenses, and working capital to support ongoing financial health.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial data accuracy and integrity.Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key financial metrics and trends.
