General Purpose
Conducts activities in support of large projects or major business units. Typical assignments provide exposure to more complex financial concepts / issues / activities. Participates in the preparation of highly detailed and complex analyses and research for financial forecasts and projections.
Essential Functions
- Conducts activities in accordance with GAAP and established MillerKnoll guidelines.
- Conducts financial analysis using advanced and/or specialized accounting and finance principles, concepts, theories and techniques.
- Assists in development of financial forecasts, budgets, and long-range plans, ensuring alignment with business strategy.
- Works with internal and external sources to collect, validate, and interpret complex data, with the ability to lead communication of more detailed technical information.
- Continuously increases personal knowledge of the organization and personal business acumen through ongoing learning activities.
- Conducts activities with limited supervision and shares unusual issues or situations with leadership.
- Works independently on complex problems / projects that are broad in nature requiring thorough understanding of accounting and finance fundamentals.
- Performs additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting.
- 3-5 years of experience in a professional financial environment.

- Must have well developed interpersonal and communication skills.
- Possess analytical skills necessary to analyze problems and generate new ideas and solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to identify, define and resolve problems, projects, and programs.
- Proven ability to accomplish desired objectives and outcomes by influencing individuals at all levels.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
