Financial Analyst

Responsibilities

• Work closely with all Departmental Directors and Managers to identify areas of improvement for any Department.
• Support and contribute expertise to projects related to achieving property Business, Guest Service, and Financial goals in a supportive manner.
• Create and oversee packages for corporate review meetings.
• Develop ROI analyses for capital projects and property events as needed.
• Conduct analyses for which there is no template or prior version, developing new methods of analysis using available data.
• Prepare and maintain weekly property forecast.
• Review financial statements and schedules, reporting on variances.
• Ensure proper maintenance of the property expense tracking system.
• Finish job tasks in a timely manner according to department standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Casino experience preferred.
• Prior analytical experience required.
• Valid drivers and gaming license within assigned state of employment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel, with proficiency in Microsoft Access preferred.
• Proficiency in Timeline, Showcase, ACSC, and Tableau Portal preferred.
• Strong organizational and communications skills, teamwork, and attention to detail.
• Able to meet required deadlines and coordinate multiple tasks.
• Professionalism, discretion, and independent judgment.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Good mathematical skills.
