Financial Analyst

About the role
You will proactively partner with the Consumer Care Business US division, Operations, and across the Finance functions to support, model, understand, and improve the Consumer Care business, enabling Sector Management to meet their financial targets and objectives. You are proactively involved in both understanding actual results and influencing future decision-making. Reporting to our Associate Finance Director, your responsibilities and projects range from simple to complex and require the use of analytical modeling and business problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Financial Planning, Forecasting & Performance Management
- Lead the development, consolidation, and analysis of the Annual Operating Plan, monthly forecasts, and periodic financial reviews for assigned brands and business units.
- Partner closely with Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, and cross-functional stakeholders to identify risks and opportunities, challenge assumptions, and improve forecast accuracy.
- Support an integrated planning process that aligns financial targets with business objectives and drives accountability for results.
- Business Partnering & Decision Support
- Serve as a strategic finance partner by providing financial insights, recommendations, and scenario analyses that support key business decisions.
- Develop financial models, business cases, and investment evaluations for growth initiatives, pricing actions, promotional programs, innovation launches, and other strategic projects.
- Translate complex financial information into actionable recommendations that drive profitable growth, improve performance, and maximize shareholder value.
- Business Analytics, Reporting & Insights
- Develop, analyze, and communicate financial and operational performance metrics to drive informed decision-making.
- Leverage financial systems, data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), and AI-enabled technologies to create dashboards, automate reporting, and generate actionable insights.
- Conduct deep-dive analyses of brand, customer, channel, and portfolio performance to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and the underlying business drivers impacting results.
- Present findings and recommendations to management in a clear and compelling manner.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Advanced analytical skills
- 5 years of related FP&A experience
- General understanding of IFRS requirements
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft 365 tools, including the ability to leverage AI-enabled solutions (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) to improve productivity, automate workflows, and enhance business insights
- Experience with ERP and financial systems (SAP S/4HANA preferred), business intelligence and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms, and the ability to transform large data sets into actionable business recommendations
