While some roles are based at one of our office locations, remote roles can sit in any of the following states: AL, AZ, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, MI, MN, MO, NC, NE, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, and WV. Remote status and role locations are subject to change. Relocation is not provided. Employees within a 90-minute radius of our Oak Brook, IL headquarters are required to adhere to the company in-office work guidelines of 4 days per month minimum from 10 am to 2 pm (1 of the 4 days must be a Monday or Friday). This requirement does not apply to support specialist positions.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial projections.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, including variance analyses against budget, forecast, and prior periods.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance financial models to support scenario analysis, ROI evaluations, and business decision-making.
  • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify trends, risks, and opportunities in financial and operational performance.
  • Compile and support financial presentations for senior leadership, board meetings, and ad hoc requests.
  • Partner with department leaders to gather data, understand operational drivers, and provide financial guidance for strategic initiatives.
  • Distill large and complex data sets into clear, usable, and actionable insights.
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial reporting processes, efficiency, and accuracy, including support for automation and FP&A best practices.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned within the nature and level of work.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field required.
  • One (1) to three (3) years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, financial analysis, or a related discipline.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, or variance analysis preferred.
  • Infrequent travel (10%).
  • Ability to occasionally work overtime or after hours.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to draw meaningful conclusions from data.
  • High attention to detail with a strong commitment to accuracy, organization, and timeliness.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook; advanced Excel skills preferred.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and intellectually curious with a collaborative and optimistic mindset.

Pay

$70,000-$80,000 per year. The compensation package may also include incentive and bonus opportunities.
