Financial Analyst

About the role

As a Financial Analyst, you will examine financial data, prepare reports, and provide insights to support decision-making and financial planning. The role focuses on transactions related to the full order-to-cash cycle, accounts receivable and collection processes, and ensuring accurate revenue recognition in compliance with IFRS 15.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with and provide excellent customer service to the business unit(s).
• Complete the month-end and quarter-end close processes by examining results, preparing journal entries, detailed balance sheet reconciliations, and reporting for senior management.
• Track and examine deferred maintenance, hardware, software, and revenue streams.
• Prepare information requests and respond to questions during quarterly reviews and the annual audit.
• Handle special projects and ad hoc reporting as required.

Requirements

• Education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience in financial analysis roles, accounting roles, or relevant experience.
• Completion of or working toward a professional accounting designation (CPA).
• Excellent proficiency in financial modeling.
• Proven attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Pay

Salary range: $50,000 to $55,000.
