About the role
The Financial Analyst will provide direct support for our government compliance reporting, financial reporting, and certain accounting efforts as assigned by the Director of FP&A. These responsibilities primarily include preparation of government financial reports, incurred cost submissions, cost plus invoicing, indirect rate calculations, and compliance with applicable federal regulations, including FAR and CAS as applicable.
Responsibilities
- Prepare the annual incurred cost submission to the government
- Prepare quarterly indirect rate calculations and submission of provisional billing rates if applicable
- Customer invoicing for cost plus programs
- Monthly accounting close analysis for cost plus programs
- Financial analysis reporting for overhead and SG&A spend
- Labor analysis
- Customer Order and invoicing analysis and reporting
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- U.S. Person
- Bachelor's degree in Finance and/or Accounting
- 3-5+ years' experience as a Financial Analyst or Accountant
- Government accounting and reporting experience
- FAR and CAS experience
- Strong PC and analytical skills
- Strong proficiency in Excel
- Integrated ERP system experience a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong organization and communication skills with ability to communicate with all levels inside and outside the organization
- Highly financially literate
- Superior attention to detail
- Able to work effectively under tight time constraints, and multi-task on various projects
- Takes a proactive approach, is energetic and works with a sense of urgency
- Focuses on continuous improvement of processes
