About the Role

The selectee will perform as the Decision Technologies Financial Analyst for a US Navy Weapons Engineering and Program Acquisition Support contract.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice and technical assistance in the preparation of annual budgets
• Measure organizational performance; assess the effects of various programs and policies on the budget
• Examine budget estimates or proposals for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with established procedures, regulations, and organizational objectives
• Examine past and current budgets and research economic and financial developments that affect the organization’s spending
• Coordinate financial activities across various stakeholders
• Manage finances across multiple funding types
• Track budgets, costs, and variances
• Produce executive summaries
• Conduct financial reporting and analysis of financial issues and customer requirements
• Interpret and apply financial management principles
• Apply financial management processes, techniques, policies, regulations, and organizational strategic goals

Requirements

• Entry-Level: Some education in pursuit of a business or finance career
• Junior-Level: 1-3 years’ experience as a financial analyst
• Mid-Level: 4-10 years’ experience as a contracts or program analyst for a Government program office

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline (desired)
• Direct experience as a financial analyst with NAVSEA or PEO IWS program offices (desired)
• An active SECRET clearance (desired)
• Knowledge of Navy-specific financial systems such as ERP, MSIL, and NEPS (desired)
• Experience working with financial actions and task tracking for ACAT-1/2/3 acquisition programs (desired)
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with team members and subcontractors from various technical, acquisition, and administrative disciplines
• Ability to develop and deliver coherent and concise customer presentations

Pay

The pay range for this role is $60,000 - $110,000 USD per year (HQ).
