Financial Analyst

About the Department
The Financial Planning department partners with managers to create the annual Operating and Capital budgets and assists with variance analysis of actual activity versus budgeted activity. This department also provides program profitability reporting, financial information, and analysis to all levels of management to support organizational and departmental decisions.
Responsibilities
- Research and analyze various sources of data.
- Create reports and dashboards.
- Provide financial support to business owners.
- Analyze revenue and expense trends using descriptive analytics and data visualization.
- Participate in annual budgeting and forecasting.
- Assist business departments in understanding and managing their financial responsibilities.
- Help departments develop a roadmap for their future financial commitments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- 3+ years of experience with cost accounting/service line analysis (healthcare experience preferred).
- Strong oral communication skills and ability to produce clear, written summaries synthesizing recommendations and conclusions.
- Analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite, with the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Ability to multi-task, work independently and as part of a team, and establish cooperative and collaborative working relationships.

Pay
The posted salary represents a market-competitive range based on salary survey benchmark data for similar roles in the local or national market. Annual salaries are based on full-time employment (40 standard hours per week) and will be prorated for part-time positions. Individual pay rates are determined by considering a wide range of factors, including market indicators for the specific role, skills, education, training, credentials, experience, internal equity, and organizational needs.
