Financial Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Process and review biweekly payroll, and salary payroll including regular pay, overtime, bonuses, deductions, and adjustments.
• Maintain accurate employee payroll and timekeeping records.
• Process new hires, terminations, salary changes, direct deposits, deductions, and other payroll changes.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, including variance analysis and performance summaries.
• Support annual and periodic budgeting cycles through data collection, model updates, and scenario analysis.
• Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Maintain and enhance financial models used for planning, valuation, and decision support.
• Prepare and maintain KPI reports, track performance metrics, and deliver insights to leadership.
• Partner with internal teams to gather data, validate assumptions and support financial initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Extensive prior experience with payroll systems, Paycor a plus.
• Foundational experience through internships, projects, or entry-level finance roles.
• Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas), basic financial modeling, and data analysis tools.
• Strong analytical, organization, and communication skills.
• Able to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Experience with ERP systems, payroll platforms, or financial software.
• Exposure to KPI dashboards or visualizing tools.
