Financial Analyst

What You'll Be Working On

• Support the development and maintenance of financial models used for forecasting and business planning
• Aid in the ongoing monitoring and analysis of key metrics and business trends, providing regular updates to the broader finance team
• Prepare weekly reporting that highlights operational results, forecasts, and business plans across the company's various divisions and subsidiaries
• Contribute to the development of budgets, business plans, and forecasts for Care.com and its business units
• Identify operational issues and recommend solutions
• Collaborate with the FP&A team to meet all internal and external deadlines
• Assist with ad hoc projects as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or an equivalent quantitative major
• 1-2 years of experience in a finance or analytics role in a corporate environment
• Experience in the tech industry, management consulting, or investment banking is a plus
• Foundational understanding of finance, accounting, economics, and statistics
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Proficiency with MS Office products, particularly Excel
• Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines

• Salary Range: $75,000 – $85,000. The base salary range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance.
