Financial Analyst

Responsibilities
- Assist with annual business plan preparation and quarterly reforecasts including review of investments plans, effect of changes to return metric, detailed analysis of current strategy, and variance analysis to underwriting
- Review, document and consolidate investment valuations and ensure calculations are in line with internal policies
- Support the internal capital markets team throughout the debt financing process
- Produce / manage financial models used to calculate current / projected performance
- Generate materials for monthly operations meeting
- Maintain / update Argus files for various metrics including leasing, operating and market assumptions
- Maintain development reporting at the project level
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with property and corporate accounting teams to ensure accuracy and the reporting timelines are met
- Develop and update presentations for both internal and external audiences
- Other ad hoc requests as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, accounting, or applicable field
- Up to three years’ experience working in corporate finance, a Fortune 100 company, a large real estate investment company or a public REIT
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Strong knowledge and demonstrated competence in working with large data sets
- Argus Enterprise experience is a plus
- Understand and compile basic proforma financial statements
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task with good time management to meet multiple deadlines
