About the role
This position is a financial analyst role within Vespyr and Aurologistics. The role focuses on payable processing, GL review, cost rationalisation, management accounting and MIS reporting, with responsibility for payment coordination and monthly reporting deliverables. This role reports directly to the finance controller of Vespyr.
Responsibilities
Accounts Payables
- Daily coordination with Global Shared Service based out of India
- Support shared service team in obtaining proper approvals, providing supporting documents, and guiding relevant GL codes & Dept codes
- Review AP payments and get them reviewed by controller to process the payments
- Cut checks and obtain signatories and mail checks to vendors
- Ensure shared service team maintains up-to-date AP accounting
- Ensure no past due invoices of vendors and maintain a clean AP Ageing report
- Review aged AP ageing report once a week and follow up with shared service team for up-to-date status
- Reconcile AP Ageing and GL
- Support shared service team in expense reimbursements and on-time payment to employees
- Coordinate with sales team, R&D and other teams in obtaining approvals and clarifications
Accounts Receivable
- Review AR collections
- Ensure no past due invoices of customers and maintain a clean AR aging
- Review aged AR ageing report once a week and follow up with shared service team
- Reconcile AR aging with GL
General Ledger Reconciliations
- Assist with GL Review
- Assist with month-end closing
- Record, maintain, post and reverse monthly journal entries
- Maintain detailed listings of the contents of all balance sheet accounts
- Assist auditors with journal entry examinations
- Assist in the production of financial statements
- Provide supporting documentation for audits
Management Accounting
- Prepare monthly MIS reports for internal management
- Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements
- Support quarterly and annual audits
- Assist Operations team in the Monthly Operations Review
- Identify areas for cost reductions and operational improvements
- Prepare annual budget process, periodic forecasting, and periodic analysis of operations performance
- Coordinate with President, Sales Administration, QA and regulatory departments to provide relevant information
Requirements
- Minimum two years of relevant AP or Manufacturing Accounting experience
- Competency in MS Office programs
- Experience in Oracle
- Strong ability to communicate
- Ability to prioritize and organize
- A Bachelor’s degree or undergraduate in finance or accounting

Pay
USD $60,000.00 – $66,000.00 per year
Physical Requirements
- Stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard
- Reach, stoop, kneel to install computer equipment
- Close vision requirements due to computer work
- Light to moderate lifting required
- Moderate noise environment (business office with computers, phone, and printers, light traffic)
