Financial Analyst (52365)
FLSA Status: Exempt | Reports to: Director, Accounting and Finance
About the Role
The Financial Analyst performs comprehensive financial analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, long-term financial planning, variance analysis, and treasury. This role prepares and presents financial reports to management, ensures compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX), and supports General Ledger Accounting. Position is located in Milpitas, California.
Responsibilities
- Prepares annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial planning
- Prepares monthly financial reports and variance analysis of actual versus budget/forecast
- Provides analysis and prepares presentations for departments
- Delivers monthly financial operating results, including variance explanations
- Prepares ad-hoc financial analysis and reports to support decision-making
- Monitors all spending and reports monthly, quarterly, and annual results to management
- Ensures SOX compliance by maintaining appropriate controls
- Assists in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes; supports review and audit activities
- Handles treasury functions
- Adheres to all safety policies and procedures
- Performs other duties of a similar nature or level
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance and/or equivalent relevant experience
- Three years of experience as a Financial Analyst or in a similar role
- Hands-on experience using Oracle or other similar financial accounting applications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Skills
- Knowledge of financial modeling and analysis tools
- Knowledge of and ability to comply with GAAP and IFRS
- Knowledge of and ability to comply with SOX requirements and controls
- Knowledge of general ledger accounting processes and procedures
- Skilled at analyzing data and creating reports or charts
- Ability to take initiative to improve processes or practices
- Effective communication (verbal and written) with all levels of employees and management
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with individuals, teams, and departments

Working Conditions
Primarily works in an office environment Monday through Friday. Schedule may occasionally be altered to meet business or operational needs. Position involves mostly seated work with occasional standing, walking, fine grasping movements, bending, and twisting. Operates a computer, telephone, and other office equipment. May occasionally push, pull, or lift up to 10 pounds.
Pay
Annual base salary range: $92,929.95–$136,661.69, plus bonus target and benefits. Individual pay within this range may vary based on job responsibilities, knowledge, skills, abilities, education, and experience.
