Responsibilities

• Affords assistance in administering various financial aid programs as needed under supervision.
• Provides customer service to prospective and current students through multiple channels including telephone, email, in-person, and live chat.
• Assists with recruitment and university orientation.
• Counsels students on financial aid procedures, eligibility criteria, and program requirements.
• Analyzes applicants' financial situations to determine their contribution towards education costs.
• Supports the administration of federal and institutional financial aid programs such as Pell, SEOG, FWS, loans, verification, and more.
• Ensures staff is trained to support these programs and complies with relevant regulations.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• Ability to obtain NSLDS access clearance within 60 days of employment.
• Proven ability to multitask and manage deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Benefits

Salary range: $40,000 - $42,000 per year. Work schedule: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM. Pre-employment requirements: Expanded background check.
