Financial Aid Analyst/Specialist

Responsibilities

• Guide prospective students and family members through financial aid programs, application steps, and eligibility guidelines.
• Review documentation for accuracy and completeness while helping applicants resolve missing or unclear information.
• Provide responsive support in person, by phone, and through written communication to address funding-related questions.
• Couple with admissions staff to ensure financial aid activity aligns with the student onboarding process.
• Maintain organized records, track case progress, and uphold compliance with established procedures and deadlines.
• Explain award details, financing options, and next-step requirements in a clear and supportive manner.
• Manage a high volume of student interactions during peak periods while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in financial aid, student services, customer support, or a related administrative role.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to assist students and families effectively.
• Background in accounting, finance, or financial services is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to manage documentation accurately and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Comfortable working in a permanent onsite office environment in Miramar, Florida.
• Able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including admissions personnel.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
