Financial Accountant II

About the role

This position will participate as a key team member in a wide variety of improvement projects and analysis with the goal of increasing both operational efficiencies and internal controls. This position will perform a wide variety of tasks and non-routine responsibilities including analysis of financial data; reviewing, documenting, and improving processes, procedures and systems; extracting, organizing and analyzing financial data from various databases. This position will also perform various accounting duties including account reconciliations, capital asset verifications, assisting departments with journal entries and other accounting duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for financial security in SAP
• Aid with the annual year end audits
• Aid with Service Center reviews
• Aid with Facilities and Administrative Rate proposal

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field
• 3-5 years related financial accounting, analysis, or reporting experience

Qualifications

• Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered

Pay

$65,000-70,000/year
