Position Responsibilities:
- Analyze and understand system transactions
- Aid in resolving discrepancies by coordinating with employees, suppliers, and other organizations
- Perform basic supplier account reconciliations, working closely with supply chain management and other members of the organization and answering their questions
- Apply cash receipts and disbursements transactions with suppliers in accounts payable
- Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and controls that prevent or reduce risk of potential misstatements
- Reconcile assigned general ledger accounts
- Aid with internal and external audit requests
- Weekly review of critical pay suppliers to ensure timely payments
- Manage assigned projects to deadlines, supporting any payment-related projects
- Work under deadlines and assist in resolving accounting challenges
- Collaborate and grow in a team environment
Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Understanding of GAAP and accounting principles
- Ability to work well independently and in a team environment
- 2 to 5 years of experience
- Strong Excel skills, organizing and analyzing large volumes of data
- Strong communication skills both verbally and in writing
- Very organized, able to follow through and track tasks
- Must be a US Citizen
- High School Diploma or GED
Qualifications (Preferred Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5 years or more related business area of experience
- Previous accounts payable experience
- SAP or other ERP system experience
