Finance Support
About the role
If you are an Accounting or Finance professional looking for an opportunity to grow your career, Emerson has a Finance Support 3 role available at their Rosemount Specialty Products location in East Wenatchee, WA. This role reports to the Senior Finance Analyst and offers the chance to work on a smaller team supporting one of Emerson's manufacturing businesses while also interacting regularly with a larger corporate team.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for computer inputs, run scheduling, review of output and distribution of accounting data.
- Research, track, and resolve accounting problems or errors.
- Prepare reports, worksheets, or audit schedules necessary for internal and external use.
- Work on special projects and handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality using independent judgement with a high degree of accountability.
- Provide input and test data for system design and development.
- Investigate discrepancies in actual expenses vs. budget.
- Reconcile subsidiary ledgers to general ledger and/or reconcile ledger accounts.
- Gather data and prepare 1099’s.
Qualifications
- A relevant combination of education and work experience in accounting, finance, or a related field, appropriate to the level of the position.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Two (2) or more years of experience in accounting, finance or related field.
Benefits
- Competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and rewards performance during our annual merit review process.
- The salary range for this role is $60,000 - $75,000 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
