Finance Senior Supervisor (M3)

About the Role
Naval Power’s CIWS Sustainment finance team is seeking a motivated finance professional to join our large DOD/FMS Long Term Contract (LTC), Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA), and Spares & Repairs portfolio as a Finance Senior Supervisor (M3). This portfolio consists of DOD/FMS contracts of varying sizes, with the U.S. Navy as its primary customer.
In this role, you will manage direct reports, oversee financial operations, provide team training, lead contract negotiations, and build relationships with internal and external customers. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator with a strong desire to learn while being challenged, able to think on their feet, make decisions in a fast-paced environment, manage competing priorities, and interact with various levels of management.
You will have the opportunity to improve your skills in financial planning, PRISM, estimates at complete, and variance analysis, applying them to existing and future pursuits.
Responsibilities
- Quarterly development and oversight of Estimate at Completion (EACs).
- Interface with Control Account Managers, Program Management, the Integrated Product Leadership Team, and ensure compliance with financial policies.
- Analysis of program performance, IOT management, utilization of APEX & PRISM tools, and assisting with initial baseline for new awards.
- Provide training and mentoring to team members.
- Support review and forecast of Bookings, Sales, Earnings, and Cash forecast to Financial Planning.
- Summarize contract-level inputs and updates to Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Long Range Plan (LRP).
- Contribute to cross-functional teams with an emphasis on financial implications of team decisions and ensure finance team knowledge of program decisions.
- Develop, utilize, and disseminate process improvement and tool improvement opportunities to enhance analytical capabilities for the entire finance team.
- Ad-hoc request support in a fast-paced environment (RFIs, CFRs, ROMs, and proposal support).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Math, Finance, Accounting, or a directly related field, or equivalent experience, and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience; or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
- Experience using SAP (APEX, PRISM, and/or BW/AO), RTN PMX, or similar financial systems.
- Experience with Program Controls (Cost/Schedule) and EAC Process.
- U.S. citizenship is required.

- Experience setting up and/or managing Inter-Organizational Transfer (IOT) relationships.
- Experience leading the estimate at complete (EAC) process.
- A dedicated and positive attitude with the ability to meet critical deadlines and develop reports to drive solutions and continued process improvements.
- Advanced Excel skills.

Pay
The salary range for this role is $86,800 – $165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
Schedule
This is a hybrid role. Employees will work regularly both onsite and offsite, with the ratio of time determined in partnership with your leader. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
