Dorsey & Whitney LLP is seeking an associate or senior attorney for its Finance & Restructuring group to join the New York office. This role focuses on corporate trust finance matters and offers the opportunity to work on a wide variety of transactions.

Responsibilities

  • Handle corporate trust finance matters
  • Work on leveraged finance, fund finance, and private credit transactions
  • Engage in project finance and structured finance (preferred)
  • Represent indenture trustees and participate in general project finance and restructuring matters (helpful)

Requirements

  • JD degree from an ABA-accredited law school
  • At least three years of experience at a large law firm
  • New York bar admission or ability to become admitted in New York
  • Strong communication and writing skills
  • Top academic credentials

Benefits are available to attorneys working 17+ hours/week and their dependents, including spouses and domestic partners regardless of gender. Some benefits are subject to eligibility criteria and may result in taxable income.

Pay

For New York applicants, the salary range for this position is $200,000–$375,000. Pay is determined based on title, depth of experience in the practice area, and other factors. The individual hired may have the option to elect a lower billable-hours track with a proportional reduction in salary.
