Banking & Finance Associate Attorney NY

Key Responsibilities

• Advises borrowers and lenders on a wide range of financing transactions.
• Drafts, reviews, and negotiates syndicated loan agreements and other finance documentation.
• Affords assistance with secured lending, structured finance, project finance, equipment leasing, and related transactions.
• Collaborates with attorneys across corporate, real estate, and other transactional practice groups on multidisciplinary matters.

Candidate Profile

• 2–3 years of Banking & Finance experience gained within a law firm.
• Experience with syndicated lending, secured transactions, structured finance, project finance, equipment leasing, or similar financing matters.
• Experience in real estate finance is highly desirable.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Excellent work ethic with the ability to manage competing priorities and take on increasing responsibility.
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school is required.
• Previous experience working in a law firm is required.
• Admission to the New York Bar is required.
