Finance Project Manager with Security Clearance

Skills and attributes for success

  • Overseeing processing workflows in the Office of Financial and Procurement Services.
  • Performing and overseeing financial and procurements services.
  • Frequent contact with Government Case Managers and other DOJ agency staff.
  • Ensuring processes and procedures are followed.
  • Overseeing a small team of financial analysts.
  • Performing an active quality assurance role to ensure high quality work delivered on time.
  • Training staff on entering and updating data in proprietary databases.

Qualifications

  • At least four years of progressively more responsible supervisory and management experience in financial systems.
  • Proven capabilities and communication skills to successfully interact with clients and attorneys.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage numerous complex and time-critical support activities simultaneously.
  • Expert knowledge of Finance Systems including SAS; outstanding writing skills; excellent oral communication skills; and excellent management skills.
  • Knowledge of the Government's data processing environment in which the work is to be performed, including office automation networks, PC-based databases and other applications, and internet and server-based databases and other applications.
  • US Citizen.
  • Public Trust security clearance required.
  • Undergraduate degree, law degree desirable.
