Finance Operations Manager - Payments Professional
About the role
Mouser Electronics is seeking a skilled Financial Transaction Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on the comprehensive ecosystem of financial transactions, including electronic payments, card networks, and digital wallets. The ideal candidate will specialize in analyzing processes, making suggestions for enhancements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Responsibilities
- Specializes in financial transactions, including electronic payments, card networks, and digital wallets.
- Works closely with payment processors and stays updated on the latest trends in customer payment options.
- Analyzes existing processes to identify opportunities for improvement and makes suggestions for enhancements.
- Routinely makes suggestions for process and system enhancements, including testing, training, deployment communications, and procedure updates.
- Takes a lead role in collaboration with technical teams to drive system and process enhancement projects forward.
- Communicates to Finance teams globally regarding applications and process enhancements.
- Oversees the creation and delivery of training materials.
- Manages, interprets, and utilizes data to empower decision-making and measure performance.
- Develops and maintains a productive work team by hiring qualified personnel, training, and managing performance.
- Manages teams with integrity, ethical business practices, and in accordance with Mouser policies, procedures, and practices.
- Customarily and regularly directs the work of two or more full-time employees or their equivalent.
- Initiates, establishes, and maintains highly effective relationships with internal and external business contacts of various cultures and at all levels.
- Ensures flexible and adaptable to meet the changing needs of the business and willing to take on new responsibilities and assignments.
- Manages daily operations to meet department and company objectives.
- Works with minimum supervision and makes independent judgments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in any field, or minimum of 3 years prior work experience relevant to the team you will manage.
- Minimum 2 years as a highly performing Mouser Team Lead or Supervisor for internal candidates.
- Minimum 3 years as a supervisor or higher-level management position for external candidates.
- Likely to have Lean Six Sigma experience.
- Electronic Transactions Association (ETA) Certified Payments Professional (CPP) and/or FTIP certification preferred.
- Experience in digital transformation or managing implementations of complex systems and projects in a multi-national environment is strongly preferred.
- Experience using Tableau or other data visualization platforms required.
- Experience leading a team in a global environment preferred.

- Broad business and operational acumen with deep expertise in Finance functions, especially in an e-commerce or retail model.
- Proven leadership in guiding teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with differing priorities and life-cycle stages.
- Goal-setting and performance-tracking skills.
- Able to read and interpret wireframes, user guides, or other technical design documents.
- Skilled in requirements gathering, needs analysis, and identifying gaps in processes or solutions.
- Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and coaching/teaching abilities.
- Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills across all organizational levels.
- Exceptional organizational, documentation, and note-taking abilities.
- PC experience in a Microsoft Windows environment, proficient with internet, e-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel (advanced), PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio and other software.
- Able to make independent decisions and work with minimum supervision.
- Able to use, read, and interpret spreadsheets, printed reports, and terminal screens.
