Finance Operations Excellence Manager (Bangkok Based, Relocation Provided)

Responsibilities

• Process Improvement & Transformation
• Analyze, design, and implement process improvements across finance operations (AP, AR, GL, payments, reconciliations, etc.) to drive efficiency, accuracy, and business value.
• Be comfortable in executing Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and Kaizen independently.
• Leverage the latest trends in process improvement leveraging AI/ML and GenAI.
• Data Analysis & Insights
• Leverage data analytics to identify trends, root causes (using lean methods), and improvement opportunities.
• Develop dashboards and reports to monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and process health.
• Project Management & Stakeholder Engagement
• Support and/or lead cross-functional projects with finance, product, tech, and business teams independently, ensuring timely delivery of milestones and effective stakeholder communication.
• Automation & Technology Enablement
• Create macro-based solutions and/or collaborate with technology teams to automate manual processes using Robotic Process Automation (RPA), workflow tools, and other digital solutions.
• Documentation & Training
• Develop and maintain process documentation, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and training materials to ensure knowledge transfer and compliance.
• Be conversant with Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN) standards & tools of process documentation.
• Quality & Controls
• Identify and support the implementation of internal controls and quality assurance measures to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in driving improvements in finance operations.
• Experience in a tech or e-commerce environment is an advantage.
• Professional certifications (CA, PMP, CPA, etc.) are a plus.
