Responsibilities

  • Lead the finance workstream for New Product Introductions (NPI), ensuring every new SKU or pricing model is supported by our billing engine and accounting policies.
  • Own the project lifecycle from initial discovery and business case development through to post-launch stabilization.
  • Partner with GTM and Sales Ops to optimize the deal lifecycle, streamlining processes from initial CRM quotes to final revenue recognition.
  • Bridge the gap between finance and technical teams by documenting detailed business requirement documents (BRD) and leading User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Ensure all system changes comply with ASC 606 standards and internal controls in close collaboration with Revenue Accounting.
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive change management and training programs to ensure finance and sales teams are confident in new processes.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in Finance Transformation, Finance Operations, Consulting, or Finance Program Management within a high-growth SaaS or technology environment.
  • Deep domain knowledge of Quote-to-Cash cycles, GTM strategies, and Revenue Accounting (ASC 606).
  • Technical proficiency with ERPs (e.g., NetSuite) and CRM/Billing tools such as Salesforce, CPQ, Zuora Billing, or Zuora RevPro.
  • Proven track record of managing complex, cross-functional initiatives and hitting deadlines with diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrates curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies, with a willingness to learn and leverage them to enhance productivity, collaboration, or decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • CPA or CMA certification preferred.

Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience with financial modeling and forecasting.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance and financial reporting standards.

Pay

The estimated base salary range for this role is between $164,000 - $186,000. The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process.

Schedule

This role is based in our San Francisco office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. The standard in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Most Asanas have the option to work from home on Wednesdays. Working from home on Fridays depends on the type of work you do and the teams with which you partner.
