Responsibilities

  • Lead planning cycles for the WW Returns and Recommerce org, bringing together a large number of stakeholders, getting them organized, pulling together high quality financials, and sharing a clear story with senior executives.
  • Use solid financial knowledge and business acumen to build financial models, interpret data, draw conclusions, and make recommendations that deliver results, drive improvements, and influence leaders throughout Amazon.
  • Deliver forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results.
  • Collaborate with senior executives and various business units across Amazon.
  • Collect and analyze quantitative data to develop relevant reports that drive cost reductions.
  • Participate in hiring, developing, and mentoring peers and team members.
  • Identify opportunities to resolve defects proactively.
  • Improve, scale, or simplify finance tools across teams and organizations.
  • Contribute to work life harmony by being a positive, collaborative, and effective influencer to new team members as an indicator of operations excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)
  • 5+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience

Qualifications

  • MBA, or CPA preferred
  • 7+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
  • 7+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits)
  • Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
  • Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results

Pay

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs).

  • USA, NY, New York - 104,900.00 - 179,500.00 USD annually
  • USA, TX, Irving - 95,400.00 - 163,200.00 USD annually
  • USA, WA, Bellevue - 95,400.00 - 163,200.00 USD annually
