Finance Manager - Services, Procurement & Pharmacy

About the role

To review performance within our Procurement, Services and Pharmacy function, with the ambition of improving EBITDA. You will partner Senior business leaders and ensure they are well-informed about performance in their respective business areas at a granular level. This role influences and informs strategic decisions by utilizing insight and analysis, applied through business partnering, to translate data into actionable insights for operational leaders.

Responsibilities

• Act as a true commercial partner to our business leaders, driving financial performance.
• Collaborate daily with a diverse range of stakeholders to build strong networks.
• Take charge of store performance insight and analysis; own the numbers.
• Play a key role in shaping individual store strategies to influence the future of our Estate.

Requirements

• Experience delivering results (self and team) under pressure and in situations of ambiguity.
• Experience leading a team.

Qualifications

• Professional qualification: CIMA, ACA, or ACCA.
• Knowledge of financial accounting, purchasing and management systems.
• Significant commercial and financial understanding.

Skills

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex numbers into actionable insights for operational leaders.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT).
• Excellent stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work at pace in a dynamic environment.
