Finance Manager, Procurement
About the Role
Sandisk is seeking a Finance Manager to support the Global Procurement organization as part of Global Operations Finance. This role serves as a financial expert and strategic business partner, driving financial rigor, transparency, and decision support across sourcing strategy, supplier performance, purchasing optimization, vendor spend management, and cost optimization initiatives. The Finance Manager will partner closely with Procurement leadership to influence sourcing and supplier decisions, optimize purchasing processes, strengthen supplier economics, and enable cost discipline, while ensuring alignment with company financial targets and long-term value creation. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Global Operations Finance and supports a global, matrixed organization.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a strategic finance partner to Global Procurement, supporting senior leaders on sourcing, supplier and spend decisions
- Provide financial analysis and decision support for sourcing strategies, supplier negotiations and make/buy decisions
- Partner with Procurement to optimize purchasing processes and manage vendor spend to deliver cost savings and improved supplier performance
- Develop and monitor financial KPIs and spend analytics to track savings, compliance, and budget adherence
- Lead financial support for Procurement AOP, forecast and long range planning, including scenario modeling
- Support ad hoc financial analysis for contracts, negotiations, and transformation initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 7+ years of progressive finance experience, including 3+ years in a finance manager or lead role
Skills
- Strong experience partnering with Procurement, Supply Chain or Operations organizations
- Demonstrated expertise in direct and indirect spend analysis, cost drivers and savings validation
- Advanced financial modeling, forecasting and variance analysis skills
- Strong business acumen with the ability to influence senior stakeholders through data-driven insights
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and ERP-based financial systems (e.g., Oracle Cloud, SAP)
- Preferred: MBA or CPA/CMA
- Preferred: Experience supporting strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations or cost transformation programs
- Preferred: Familiarity with analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI)
- Preferred: People leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to develop high-performing teams
Pay
The salary range for this role is believed to be the range of possible compensation at the time of posting and is applicable for jobs to be performed in California, Colorado, New York, or remote jobs that can be performed in these states. This range may be modified in the future.
