Role Overview

The Finance Manager position is primarily responsible for assisting with all aspects of revenue and cost reporting for our Olympics business. This role will report to the Finance Director of the Olympics and assist in preparing and providing month-end and event-related reports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee financial performance and reporting across venue hospitality programs
  • Produce reports that summarize venue hospitality performance to be used in conjunction with recurring meetings with Product and Production leadership
  • Support journal preparation and review for balance sheet and income statement adjustments throughout the business cycle
  • Perform venue income statement variance analysis against budget, forecast and actuals
  • Partner with the Product function to analyze and adapt current commercial offerings to market demands and sales performance to ensure maximum profitability
  • Manage small team of analysts to deliver on business projects and objectives
  • Aid with month, quarter, and year-end close requests
  • Aid with the preparation/maintenance of key business processes and controls
  • Respond to various ad-hoc requests

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of progressive finance or FP&A experience
  • Accounting or Finance degree required, CPA a plus
  • Strong analytical and technical accounting skills, as well as excellent attention to detail
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Ability to learn and digest new things quickly
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task
  • Passion for international environment

Pay

Hiring Rate: Minimum $75,000 annually (minimum will not fall below the applicable State/local minimum salary thresholds) - Maximum $100,000 annually
