About the role
The Finance Manager assists in planning, directing, and overseeing the financial and accounting operations of the facility. This role reports to the Vice President of Sales and Hospitality with a dotted line reporting relationship to the Vice President of Finance and partners with the Club Manager to ensure accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, strong internal controls, and effective financial processes.
Responsibilities
- Assists in the development and implementation of facility goals and priorities related to financial management, budgeting, accounting, purchasing, and payroll in compliance with State and Federal regulations and Legends Global policies.
- Supports compliance with all provisions of the Legends Global management contract.
- Reviews contracts for clients, events, subcontractors, and food and beverage or concessionaire partners and global sales.
- Monitors food and beverage financial performance, including cost of goods sold, inventory, labor percentages, per-caps, and event-level profitability.
- Assists with the preparation and review of event settlements.
- Reviews and processes checks and deposits; reviews daily cash receipts and disbursements.
- Reviews purchasing activity for capital assets, office supplies, and facility supplies.
- Assists in the preparation of financial statements and reports for the Client and Legends Global Corporate, including monthly statements, annual budgets, and annual reports.
- Compiles a weekly forecast using historical data and trends in collaboration with the food and beverage team.
- Helps maintain accounting records showing receipts, expenditures, and financial position.
- Supports the maintenance of general and subsidiary ledgers, accounts receivable, revenue distribution, depreciation, cost accounting, property, operating expenses, and insurance records.
- Analyzes departmental financial performance and costs; assists in identifying trends and recommending corrective actions.
- Prepares reports and statements estimating future costs and revenues.
- Supports internal audits through review of accounting and administrative controls.
- Coordinates with the VP of Finance on client or external audit preparation and implements recommendations as assigned.
- Helps implement and maintain accounting, payroll, timekeeping, inventory, and financial control procedures.
- Reviews financial statements with department and management personnel.
- Builds and maintains standard corporate management reporting templates and produces and analyzes routine output from those reports during monthly close cycles.
- Practices safe work habits and completes company and venue safety and general compliance training.
- Maintains a pleasant and collaborative attitude towards customers, co-workers, and management.
- Adheres to the Legends Global and venue company policies.
- Completes other duties assigned by management.
- Available to work non-traditional hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Skills
- Strong working knowledge of general and cost accounting principles.
- Working knowledge of food and beverage operations within sports and entertainment, including COGS, inventory controls, per-cap analysis, and event settlements.
- High aptitude for numerical analysis and financial reporting.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle highly confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency with accounting software, spreadsheets, and word processing applications.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Education & Experience
- Hands-on understanding of F&B financial management in a sports and entertainment setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance from a four-year college or university.
- 3–5 years of experience in accounting or financial management, including direct exposure to food and beverage operations within a sports entertainment or live-events venue.
Pay
Competitive salary of $80,000-$90,000 per year.
