Finance Manager
About the role
As Finance Manager, you will play a key role in realizing our ambitions while building both the future of Vopak and your own. You will provide leadership for financial planning, analysis, and CAPEX management, overseeing the Business Analysis and Project Accounting teams. This role supports Opcos through advanced forecasting, investment appraisal, and performance optimization. As a key member of the Opco Leadership Team, you will serve as a critical bridge between terminal operations and BU financial goals while acting as the primary technical authority for BU project reporting systems and risk management frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closings for Opcos to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Lead the preparation and consolidation of annual budgets, multi-year plans, and delivery of rolling forecasts.
- Drive the Finance side of the 3YMP process and provide strategic guidance on Sustaining Capex spending.
- Develop complex financial models and draft comprehensive financial sections for Investment Proposals.
- Serve as the SME and Business Unit Key User for the Project Reporting Tool.
- Provide direct oversight and leadership for the Business Analysis and Project Accounting teams.
- Participate actively as a member of the Opco Leadership Team, contributing to strategic direction and operational success.
Requirements
- Experience providing leadership in financial planning, analysis, and CAPEX management.
- Proven track record in team management, overseeing Business Analysis and Project Accounting teams.
- Strong background in financial reporting, controlling, internal controls, and ERM/CRSA risk management frameworks.
- Expertise in developing complex financial models and conducting investment appraisal for growth projects.
- Proficiency in ERP and reporting systems (e.g., Oracle Cloud, Tagetik) and project reporting tools.

Work Environment
This role is office-based and does not involve visits to terminals. The work environment is generally free from extremes of cold or heat, with limited exposure to noise and vibrations beyond normal office sounds. The noise level is usually moderate, and there is no regular exposure to fumes, odors, toxic conditions, dust, or poor ventilation.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, sit, speak, and hear. The employee must stand, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and may occasionally climb or balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
