Raytheon Space Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (Space ISR) is seeking an experienced professional to join our Mission Operations & Support (MOS) portfolio.

This role requires a confident, capable leader who can set direction for the MOS Operations & Missions finance team, foster development, and ensure consistent, high-quality financial execution across the sub-portfolio. The selected candidate will split responsibilities between leadership/oversight of the finance team (five analysts) and direct program support. Relocation assistance is offered for eligible candidates.

About the role

Reporting directly to the IEO Business Manager, this role ensures strong program financial performance, including development of time-phased integrated budgets, cost accounting, and compliance with internal and customer requirements. The position offers opportunities to work autonomously while collaborating closely with Program Management, Business Growth Leads, and cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee financial execution across multiple programs within the portfolio; provide day-to-day guidance, mentorship, and development support to junior analysts
  • Apply experience in program controls, accounting, and FP&A to meet internal and external reporting requirements, including customer reporting, CDRLs, EACs, monthly forecasting, and financial guidance to the broader team
  • Lead monthly forecasting processes for the portfolio, ensuring accuracy, identification of risks and opportunities, and effective communication of results through predictable forecasts, R&O management, robust Program Reviews, and timely information flow
  • Support planning activities including the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Long Range Plan (LRP), and associated investment planning
  • Support Bid Gate activities in partnership with capture managers while adhering to Delegation of Authority (DOA) requirements
  • Conduct balance sheet analysis and implement cash optimization strategies
  • Maintain consistent communication with Program Management to ensure requirements are met and resources are aligned to maximize results
  • Guide organizational talent through development and succession planning; partner across finance to identify and grow future leaders and support rotational opportunities that build bench strength

Requirements

  • Active and transferable U.S. government-issued TS/SCI security clearance without Polygraph (required on day 1)
  • U.S. citizenship (required for security clearance eligibility)
  • Onsite role located at US-PA-STATE COLLEGE-5C, 302 Science Park Rd, BLDG 5C

Qualifications

You Must Have

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience
  • Experience in program controls or financial analysis
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel

We Prefer

  • Experience in the defense or aerospace industry
  • Prior supervisory experience developing and guiding teams
  • Experience interpreting and providing guidance on FAR/DFARS
  • Experience supporting competitive proposals
  • Ability to apply and interpret Raytheon Policies and Procedures
  • Excellent professional communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to multi-task and operate effectively in a dynamic environment
  • Strong prioritization skills to meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of DoD Acquisition processes
  • Proficiency with APEX, SAP, and PRISM

Pay

The salary range for this role is $107,500 – $204,500 USD. The range is a good-faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including role, function, responsibilities, work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
