About the role

The Finance Manager, Operational Finance supports C&W Services throughout the United States and Canada, serving as a strategic business partner to regional operations, client services, and corporate leadership. This role involves providing financial leadership, operational insights, and commercial support to drive profitable growth and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Develop annual budgets and monthly forecasts for the region
  • Ensure all reporting and transactional processing requirements for the region are accurate and completed timely
  • Close the books monthly; timely and accurately with risks and opportunities identified
  • Prepare variance analysis and work with client services to ensure that budgets and forecasts are achieved
  • Support client services with ad hoc financial analysis
  • Aid in the preparation of quarterly business review decks including KPIs and various analytical reports
  • Work with client services and corporate finance to identify and minimize financial risks
  • Collaborate with client services and business development to identify and execute growth opportunities
  • Coach and educate account client services team on financial related topics and policies / procedures
  • Work with client services, corporate finance, and legal on contractual matters
  • Ensure corporate policies and procedures are adhered to
  • Occasional travel to customer sites to work with site management

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive professional experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Controllership, Operational Finance, Commercial Finance, or related finance functions
  • Experience supporting business leaders and customers as a finance business partner, providing financial insights that influence operational and strategic decisions
  • Proven experience managing budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, month-end close activities, variance analysis, and business performance management
  • Experience identifying business risks and opportunities and developing action plans to improve financial and operational performance

Skills and Education

  • Strong knowledge of budgeting and forecasting processes, general accounting principles and financial reporting, SOX compliance and internal controls, contract setup and administration, billing and revenue recognition processes, purchase order management, accounts receivable and collections, billable rate calculations and pricing methodologies, transactional processing and financial operations, capital investment analysis, lease accounting and management, variance analysis and financial modeling
  • Experience interpreting, structuring, and implementing contractual requirements to minimize risk and ensure compliance with customer agreements
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting
  • Strong PowerPoint skills with the ability to create executive-level presentations and business review materials
  • Experience utilizing financial systems and data visualization tools to support decision-making

Pay

$ 93,500.00 - $110,000.00
