Finance Manager, Hybrid, Hampshire, Salary DOE

Responsibilities

• Prepare profit and loss statements and monthly closing and cost accounting reports
• Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, and document business transactions
• Aid in the establishment, maintenance, and coordination of accounting and accounting control procedures
• Analyze and review budgets and expenditures for business units
• Monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness
• Prepare and review revenue, expense, payroll entries, invoices, and other accounting documents
• Analyze revenue and expenditure trends
• Resolve accounting discrepancies
• Prepare and manage external statutory audit and financial statements
• VAT
• Prepare and submit results into group reporting package
• Oversee the month-end close process, ensuring all financial data is recorded accurately and promptly
• Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial information
• Analyze financial results and provide insights and recommendations to senior management
• Prepare financial reports for various stakeholders, including management, regulatory bodies, and investors
• Ensure closing for certain legal entities with proactive involvement in management accountant duties/tasks

Requirements

• Able to communicate at all levels
• Confident to work with other senior managers and proactively look to improve process/control and governance to drive efficiency
• Looking to progress and be proactive in driving the finance function both within the team and within the business
• PQ, Qualified through experience, or Qualified Accountant
• Good Excel skills
