Finance Manager FP&A Systems & Analytics

Accountabilities

  • Supporting and maintaining existing FP&A systems, applications, and reporting processes in collaboration with finance and IT teams.
  • Developing a strong understanding of end-to-end data flows, master data structures, system integrations, and reporting dependencies.
  • Preparing planning applications and ensuring system readiness for forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning cycles.
  • Sponsoring troubleshooting activities, reconciliations, security management, training, and system enhancements.
  • Prioritizing FP&A leadership to define future-state processes, reporting requirements, and transformation initiatives.
  • Contributing to ERP-related projects by supporting data migration, testing activities, process improvements, and reporting solutions.
  • Partnering with cross-functional stakeholders and influencing decisions related to finance processes, systems, and operational improvements.
  • Supporting financial planning platforms, including Anaplan, Hyperion, SAP, and related reporting environments.
  • Enhancing commercial reporting capabilities through analytics platforms, data marts, Databricks, and Power BI solutions.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, automation, documentation, governance, and user experience across FP&A operations.
  • Managing master data governance, risk management, compliance processes, and downstream system integrations.
  • Acting as a key member of the finance super-user community by providing training, best practices, and ongoing support.
  • Managing change management activities, documentation, and governance processes for financial planning systems.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in corporate or global finance environments, preferably within FP&A functions.
  • Strong understanding of financial planning processes, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting methodologies.
  • Experience implementing, using, enhancing, or supporting financial planning applications such as Oracle, Hyperion, Anaplan, or SAP.
  • Solid understanding of relational database concepts and proven experience with financial modeling.
  • Experience working with ERP systems, reporting platforms, and financial data environments.
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Able to influence business partners, challenge existing processes, and recommend effective solutions.
  • Strong organizational skills and experience managing projects, documentation, and process improvements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • Advanced degree, CPA certification, or MBA preferred.
  • Experience supporting large-scale finance transformation initiatives.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Power BI, Databricks, SAP Analytics Cloud, and enterprise reporting environments.
  • Experience with master data governance and compliance processes.
