What You’re Getting Into

• Own the full accounting cycle, including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Build and maintain the monthly P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statement, working toward weekly and eventually daily reporting
• Run margin analysis by SKU, offer, and channel to give leadership real visibility into profitability
• Manage 13-week cash flow forecasting and day-to-day cash management
• Reconcile inventory, COGS, and payment processors including Adyen, Stripe, PayPal, and Shopify Payments
• Oversee accounts payable, review invoices for accuracy, and coordinate sales tax filings and compliance
• Build channel-level P&Ls across DTC, Amazon, and TikTok Shop
• Manage and direct the virtual assistant supporting AP and reporting
• Work directly with the founders on a daily basis, taking over responsibilities currently split across outsourced bookkeeping and fractional CFO support

Who You Are

• You've got 4+ years of accounting or controller experience, ideally within DTC, CPG, or eCommerce
• You have deep knowledge of GAAP and inventory accounting
• You've worked with companies doing $50M+ in annual revenue
• You've owned the full accounting cycle solo: close, reconciliations, and reporting, without a team carrying the load for you
• You're fluent in Excel, Google Sheets, QuickBooks, and Ramp or similar tools
• You can build a P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statement from scratch, on your own
• You're comfortable operating on EST hours and working in a flat, fast-moving, founder-led environment
