About the role
The Finance Manager (CSS) role is full-time and salaried, based onsite in Kansas City, MO. The role supports the site's General Manager, Director of Finance, and Operational leaders for Clinical & Specialty Services. The facility handles comprehensive clinical packaging services and has specialized storage for potent and controlled drugs.
Responsibilities
- Lead monthly accounting, forecasting, and reporting processes to meet corporate, business unit, and site objectives and timelines
- Support the Manufacturing Accounting process, manage work orders, routers, and costing deliverables
- Manage the annual Pharma and Consumer Health (PCH) Site and Functional Budget process, including budget targets, timelines, and roll-up files
- Coordinate inventory activities, including analysis, reporting, inventory counts, adjustments, and assist with maintaining inventory accuracy
- Maintain a collaborative relationship with inventory control and supply chain
- Assist the General Manager and Director of Finance in establishing metrics, budgeting, forecasting, and financial/operational analyses related to fixed asset purchases, cost management, working capital, headcount control, and operational performance
- Conduct SOX-related activities as documented, coordinate changes, and work with internal and external auditors
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in accounting and/or finance from an accredited institution, required
- MBA or CPA preferred
- Minimum seven years’ experience in finance and accounting
- Minimum three years’ supporting manufacturing and distribution entities
- Minimum three years’ experience in cost accounting
- Experience with ERP systems, JD Edwards (JDE), preferred
- Experience with planning and consolidation systems, OneStream, preferred
Candidate Profile
- Individual may be required to sit, stand, walk regularly and occasionally lift up to 15 pounds
- Demonstrable leadership experience at Catalent (e.g., NGGL, GOLD, LEAD Now, GM Excellence, GROW)

Pay
Salary range: $90,000 - $120,000 annually
Schedule
Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
