Essential Duties And Responsibilities Monthly Financial Close process – reporting preliminary and final financial results, reconciling intercompany balances with other divisions, variance analysis and guidance to division and corporate officeMonth End Journal Entries – payroll journal entries, accruals, and adjusting entriesMaintain all financial records in accordance with GAAP and IFRSForecast cash on a weekly basisComplete a full financial forecast on a monthly basisManage all Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functionsManage a fixed asset register and all accompanying depreciationMonitor inventory on a weekly basisProcess payroll on a bi-weekly basis utilizing the payroll systemComplete correspondences regarding payroll information for unemployment, IRS, Dept. of Labor, etc.Complete monthly Balance Sheet reconciliationsWork with General Manager on monthly Business Reviews to be presented to corporatePrepare annual budget and annual five-year strategic planSignificant internal interaction with operating accounting departments and corporate managementPrimary contact with external auditors for two annual financial audits and one workers comp auditResponsible for developing enhancements to the corporate reporting functions and functionalityEstablish and maintain systems and controls which verify the integrity of all systems, processes, data, and enhance company valueConform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions Other responsibilities as assigned Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skillsExcellent project management skillsSelf-starter with ability to work in an unstructured environment A well organized and self-directed individual Strong understanding of systems design Experienced with high volume transaction processing environment An energetic, "straight shooter" with high ethical standards and an appropriate professional imageA strategic visionary with sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment, and strong operational focusAn intelligent and articulate individual who can relate to people at all levels of an organization and possesses excellent communication skillsA decisive individual who possesses a "big picture" perspective and is well versed in systems Magellan Aerospace is committed to an inclusive working environment and equal opportunities for all.
